We had another great weekend at Jeff's parents' house and another fun dinner at the Red Bar on Saturday. Sadly, it will be our last for a while since we'll be on the move this time next week. We lucked out and got there just ahead of the crowds (you can tell it's spring break!) and snagged a big table at the front so Wyatt had awesome views of the singer. It's entirely possible that Wyatt led every round of applause!
In other Wyatt's World news, he loves his puzzles and will literally drop everything and run to the door if you mention the word "outside". He lobbies for playing (by throwing his own made-up sign) every time we get in the car, in hopes that we'll turn toward the playground. The child wakes up every day and wants his music. We are learning to not mention that word if we're not prepared to provide it! Right now I'm working on music appreciation with him, meaning that music is music even if it's not Ralph's World. On the flip side, I'm both falling asleep and waking up to "Peggy's Pie Parlor Polka" running through my head which tells me my campaign is, thus far, fruitless.

It was a beautiful day here today, so we spent some quality time at the park with the grandparents - they have to head home tomorrow so we soaked up the fun as best we could.

I'm with you...Jackson's words are exploding as well and he continues to amaze us with what he knows. And the "where did my baby go?" comment...just yesterday at dinner, as I watched him eat "big people food" I teared up...he no longer really needs me to feed him...unless he is solely relying on utensils! Good luck with the move!
Where'd your baby go? is right! Holy cow, he looks so big!!! I'm sad to hear y'all are leaving but also glad for you since I know you're ready to be in your new abode. Good luck with the move!
It's so funny how many moms I've heard utter those words after I did myself several years ago. It reminds me how big my girls are. When you see other kids growing up so quickly, it reminds you that yours are still doing the same--even though they aren't in toddlerhood anymore, where you can literally see the milestones crossed. Enjoy it, ladies!
If Wyatt is looking older, that means MY baby is looking older... Oh my! Wish I could say Katelyn is using more words...her favorite right now is "mama wad dat?" I think I hear that every minute she's awake. So I'm sure the words will be coming more fast and furious since now the curiousity has come. Loved the pics!
Wyatt is such a big boy and such a joy to be around. Thank you so much for bringing your parents over to hang out with me the other day. It was so great to see them. And a big thank you for my Starbucks! I'm going to miss y'all so much!
Lots of love to you all.
I'm so glad that I got to see you and Wyatt before you left. He is so cute and I love that he claimed me as his buddy over at Laurie's house. Your parents are wonderful, it was great meeting them and thanks again for the Starbuck's! Enjoy your new home.
Ahh, the Red Bar.
