life, blah, blah, blah…but I couldn't fail to record this gem from my little girl:
Apparently they're doing a little rehearsal for the upcoming Christmas program and I've been getting snippets sung to me as we drive around town. From what I'm hearing, they're either doing a kid version of traditional carols or maybe - just maybe - Natalie is a little confused on the lyrics. I mean, unless the rest of you know the song, "No Telling on the Mountain," that is. When I suggested some alternate lyrics like, oh, say, "go tell it on the mountain" she assured me I don't know the song. Can't wait for the rest of the show!

Miss you! Send everyone our love...I am trying to get back into the blog world :) slow but sure....have an awesome christmas
Love it, Addison is right there with her...maybe they are working from the same script ;)
Like Ann's favorite song, "Jesus Christ, the Crows He Flies"....which tuned out to be "Ask Ye What Great Things He Knows" including the phrase, "Jesus Christ, the Crucified!" I liked her version, too! Go, Natalie...rewrite them to whatever tells the story YOUR way!
This remimds me of the summer that we visited you in VA and Wyatt was really into singing "Proud To Be An American." Mark spent an inordinate amount of time singing the wrong lyrics that week trying to get Wyatt to correct him. Wyat wouldn't be tricked. Natalie will obviously not fall for Uncle Mark's shenanigans either!
Priceless. I love it.
My fave of Katelyn's is
"We will, we will, Rocketship!"
(We will, we will, Rock You!"
