Let's look at the facts:
1. I have a serious sweet tooth.
2. My kid is no dummy.
3. Okinawa is famous for sweet potatoes.
Get it? That's right! I should have known that Wyatt would go for the sweet potatoes. We've had our first successful solid feeding event. Granted, he could've been a master's project for someone studying spray patterns because he felt the need to work each bite of sweet potatoes around in his mouth, and there was one good Wyatt raspberry that immediately followed the insertion of a spoonful, but in all, it was highly successful! So what if I had to stain stick his shirt, pants and socks as well as my sleeve? Tomorrow we will have more sweet potatoes! Hopefully I'll get a picture :)

He has been practicing those raspberries in anticipation of orange food. Next you should try beets--that would be really fun to spray!
Hey! I told you to hold out for sweet potatoes. They're my favorite too. (I can't believe your mom and my mom didn't realize what we were discussing!) Don't forget that when they offer you rice cereal again you should hold out for Gerber puffs instead.
Thomas,
I had half a gerber puff the other night (Isaac gave it to me) and I did NOT like it! It made me cry a lot and my mom and Isaac's mom started laughing at me because they said it looked like I had front teeth. Whatever. If you say I'll like them, though, I guess I'll keep trying.
Love,
Wyatt
