I have often finished cataloging Wyatt's challenging behaviors by saying, "it's because I'm raising myself" and largely that's true. I believe Wyatt and I have similar temperaments and that's not always a good thing. However, I have three pieces of irrefutable evidence that point to Wyatt very much being his father's son. You might have to know Jeff to fully appreciate these, but here goes:
Exhibit A:
We joined some friends today at the bounce house and apparently another mom was listing who all would be present (glad to know other moms do this, too, by the way, since Wyatt always wants to know who he should be expecting to see) and when Wyatt's name was mentioned, his friend said, "Mommy, I'm just not sure I want to hold hands today."
Exhibit B:
Last weekend, Wyatt was telling me and Jeff something "very important" and finished his statement by saying, "period dot."
Exhibit C:
This morning, my dear, sweet, three-and-a-half year old son looked at me as I was cleaning up the breakfast dishes and said, "Mommy, you're smoking rope."
The defense rests.

oh my gosh - pilot speak coming from a 3-year old??!! Guess we really have to be careful with our "little sponges". So cute that he's a hand-holder. I'll have to ask Mike if Jeff ever tried this during the B course:)
Oh...soooo Jeff!! No doubt about it!
