I Believe

I have a cool chant stuck in my head after attending the Sporting KC game tonight with the whole family, Aunt Martha & Uncle Leon included. Despite the fact that I made sure to charge my camera battery before we left, I have no pictures to show you from the event. So you have to trust me, it was fun. And the catchy rhythm of the "I believe that we will win" chant will reverberate in my head for days, if not years. It's that good.

Sadly, like all other Kansas teams this weekend, Sporting KC fell to their opponents tonight. I'm pretty sure that if I were a true fan, I'd care. But I'm not. I was there for the ambiance, the spirit of it all and the surroundings of Kansas City's very cool LiveStrong stadium. Wyatt was there for all of that and the opportunity to hang out with his cousins while sitting on Aunt Susan's lap. Natalie was there for….well, we're not sure, but she had fun looking at all the nice people around us.

For those of you who have no earthly idea who or what I'm talking about, I give you this.

Maybe Natalie was there for the same thing Thomas was? Nachos?

That chant is great. So agree. The tween boys sitting next to me and Wyatt kept chanting, "I believe that that's a card" everytime the officials decided to ignore rough play on Houston's part. Pretty funny.

Nice chant. A bit tingly down the spine. Almost as cool as Rocky Top....but *not quite*
